Adding Taxes
In OpenCampground, you can define and apply various taxes to reservations, accommodations, and additional services. These taxes can be set up as either a fixed amount or a percentage of the total charge. The system allows you to specify when each tax should be applied, such as for daily, weekly, monthly, or full-season rentals.
Creating a New Tax
- Go to the Admin section
- Click on Settings
- Click on the "Taxes" tab
- Click the "Add a New Tax" button and give the Tax a unique name
- Select whether the tax should be a fixed amount or a percentage
- Determine to apply the tax for daily, weekly, monthly or full season rentals.
- Click "Add" when you're done
By following these steps, you can set up and configure taxes in OpenCampground based on your specific requirements.
