Adding Taxes

Adding Taxes

In OpenCampground, you can define and apply various taxes to reservations, accommodations, and additional services. These taxes can be set up as either a fixed amount or a percentage of the total charge. The system allows you to specify when each tax should be applied, such as for daily, weekly, monthly, or full-season rentals.

Creating a New Tax

  1. Go to the Admin section
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Click on the "Taxes" tab
  4. Click the "Add a New Tax" button and give the Tax a unique name
  5. Select whether the tax should be a fixed amount or a percentage
  6. Determine to apply the tax for daily, weekly, monthly or full season rentals.
  7. Click "Add" when you're done
By following these steps, you can set up and configure taxes in OpenCampground based on your specific requirements.

Info
It's important to regularly review and update the tax configurations to ensure compliance with local regulations and accurately reflect any changes in tax rates or applicability rules.
