Creating a Reservation

A reservation is like saving a spot for your guest at your campground, RV park, or outdoor venue. It's a way to keep track of who's coming, when they're arriving, and how long they're staying.

Reservations help you:

  • Know how many guests to expect
  • Plan which spots or sites are available
  • Prepare for your guests' needs

When you create a reservation, you're setting aside space for a traveler. This could be a campsite, an RV hookup, a marina slip, or a spot at your event. It's your digital promise to have a place ready when your guest arrives.

Using reservations makes check-in easier and helps avoid overbooking. It also gives you a record of who's staying at your property, which is important for safety and planning.

  1. How to Create a Reservation

    1. Click "New Reservation" under "Guest Management" in the left menu.
    2. Choose check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, and other relevant details. Click "Find Space"
    3. Select from the list of sites based on your criteria. Click "select"
    4. You can add a guest two ways:
      1. New Guest: Type in the guest's full name and contact information.
      2. Existing Guest: Use the "Guest Search" box. Type in the guest's first and last name.
        1. Pick the right guest from the list that shows up.
        2. The guest's information will fill in automatically.
    5. (optional) Add any additional extras/ add-ons such as amenities, packages, or equipment rentals.
    6. (optional) Add any special notes
    7. Enter in the payment details for the Guest. Choose how you want the Guest to pay (Credit Card, Cash, Check), and whether you want the reservation amount to be paid in full, partially, or at the time of Checkout.
    8. Click "Complete Reservation" or "Check In Now" button to finish the reservation.
      1. Complete Reservation does not auto check in the Guest. The Guest will be checked in upon the arrival date
      2. Check In Now checks in the Guest
After following these steps, the reservation will be created and confirmed in the system.
