Email Setup

OpenCampground allows you to configure your email system to send custom email notifications, such as reservation confirmations, updates, cancellations, and feedback requests. To set up email configurations, follow these steps:
  1. Go to Admin section
  2. Click on "Email" tab
  3. In the Email Configuration section, you'll need to provide the following SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) settings:
    1. Mail Sender Address (e.g. youremail@gmail.com)
    2. Reply- To Address (the email address that you want your guests to reply to)
    3. Mail CC Address (Carbon copy. Recipients are sent a copy of the email)
    4. Mail BCC Address (Blind carbon copy.  Recipients won’t be able to see that someone else has been sent a copy of the email)
  4. Save Changes
By configuring email settings in OpenCampground, you can streamline communication with your guests, providing them with timely and personalized notifications throughout the reservation process. Effective email communication can enhance the overall guest experience and reduce the need for manual follow-ups or inquiries.
