In our legacy system, users had the ability to extend reservations by adding one day or one month. While this was quick to use, it had some limits. For example, if you needed to extend a stay by 5 days or 2 weeks, you would have to make multiple changes. This wasn't very convenient.

Our new system gives you more control. Now you can pick any dates you want using a calendar, making it much easier to extend reservations for any length of time. You can also change the guest's site or space at the same time if needed.

Steps to Extend a Reservation

Basic Date Change

To change just the dates of a reservation, follow these steps:

1. Click on "Reservations" under Guest Management
2. Find the reservation you want to change
3. Click "View" next to that reservation
4. Click the "Change Site/Dates" button
5. Pick your new dates using the calendar. 
6. Click "Select Space"
   
7. From the list locate the site with a "grey" button labeled "current"
   
8. Click on the site marked "Current" to keep the same space
9. Save your changes by clicking "close". 

Changing Dates and Space

If you want to move the guest to a different site while changing dates:

1. Follow steps 1-5 from above
2. After picking new dates, click "Select Space"
3. Look at the list of available spaces
4. Click on the new space you want to assign
5. Save your changes
