How to Create Prices for a Site/Space
Overview
This article explains how to set up pricing for your camping sites or spaces. This is a two-step process: first creating a price class, then assigning that price class to specific sites or spaces.
Step 1: Create a Price Class
- Access Settings
- Navigate to Settings
- Click on the Prices menu tab
- Create a New Price Class
- Click on the Add New Price button
- Enter a name for your price class (e.g., "Standard RV Site," "Premium Waterfront," "Tent Site")
- Set Up Pricing Options
- Enter rates for different stay durations:
- Daily Rate: Price per night for short stays
- Weekly Rate: Price for a 7-night stay
- Monthly Rate: Price for a 30-night stay
- Seasonal Rate: Price for extended seasonal stays
- Save Your Price Class
- Click the Save button to create your new price class
- Your price class will now appear in the list of available price classes
Step 2: Assign Price Class to Sites/Spaces
- Navigate to Spaces
- Go to Settings
- Click on the Spaces menu tab
- Create or Edit a Space
- To create a new space: Click the Add New Space button
- To edit an existing space: Find the space in the list and click Edit
- Enter Space Details
- Enter a name or number for the space (e.g., "Site 101," "Maple View 3")
- Fill in any other required information about the space
- Assign Price Class
- Find the Price Class dropdown menu
- Select the price class you created in Step 1
- This associates your pricing structure with this specific site/space
- Add Additional Features (Optional)
- Specify any additional features or amenities for this space
- Add descriptions, dimensions, or other relevant details
- Save Your Space
- Click the Save button to create or update your space with the assigned price class

Important Notes
- All spaces must have a Price Class assigned. If a space does not have a Price Class, it will not appear in search results and cannot be booked.
- You can create multiple price classes for different types of sites (e.g., standard, premium, waterfront, etc.).
- You can assign the same price class to multiple spaces if they share the same pricing structure.
Troubleshooting
Space Not Appearing in Search Results
If a space is not appearing in search results:
- Verify that a price class has been assigned to the space
- Check that the space is marked as active or available
- Ensure the space meets any search criteria being used
Changing Prices
To change prices:
- Update the price class in Settings > Prices
- All spaces assigned to that price class will automatically reflect the new pricing
- No need to update each space individually if using the same price class
