A "Site Type" refers to the different categories of accommodations available to guests. It helps classify and organize your property's various offerings, allowing for efficient management and clear communication with guests. Site types can vary based on amenities, location, size, or intended use.

Common Site Types include:

  • Standard RV Site
  • Premium RV Site (e.g., waterfront or extra-large)
  • Tent Site
  • Cabin or Cottage
  • Group Camping Area
  • Boat Slip (for marinas)
  • Dry Storage (for RVs or boats)
  • Pull-through RV Site
  • Back-in RV Site
  • Primitive Camping Site
  • Seasonal Site
  • Yurt or Glamping Site

Instructions:
  1. Go to Admin
  2. Click on the "Site Type" tab
  3. Provide a name for this new Site Type
  4. Check any applicable taxes that you want to apply to this Site Type. (A list of taxes will be displayed only if you have previously created one or more tax types)
  5. Click 'Add"
Remember, clearly defined site types help in efficiently managing your property and ensure guests can easily find and book the accommodation that best fits their needs. Regularly reviewing and updating your site types can help you stay responsive to guest preferences and market trends.
