How to Delete a Guest Profile

This article explains how to remove a guest profile from the system. You can only delete guest profiles that do not have active reservations.

Instructions

Step 1: Go to the Guest Menu

Click on the "Guest" menu link in your system.

Step 2: Find the Guest Profile

You have two ways to find the guest you want to delete:

  • Use the search bar: Type the guest's name to find them quickly
  • Browse through pages: Click through each page of guest profiles until you find the right one

Step 3: Delete the Profile

Once you find the guest profile, click the "Delete" button next to their name.

Important Note

You cannot delete a guest profile if they have an active reservation. The system will not let you delete these profiles. You must wait until their reservation is complete or cancelled before you can delete their profile.

What This Means

  • Active reservation = a current booking that hasn't ended yet
  • Once a reservation is finished or cancelled, the guest profile can be deleted
  • Deleted profiles cannot be recovered, so make sure you really want to remove them
