Online Reservation Fields

Online Reservation Fields is a feature that allows you to customize which search criteria your guests use when booking online. You can now configure exactly which fields appear in your reservation search interface, making them either required or optional based on your business needs.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature is available to all OpenCampground users on the current platform version. This is not available for customers on the legacy platform. It's particularly valuable for:

  • Traditional campgrounds and RV parks
  • Glamping sites
  • Event venues
  • Boutique accommodations
  • Resort properties
  • Marinas
  • Any hospitality business that offers space reservations

Configuring Online Reservation  Fields

Access the Feature

  1. Log into your OpenCampground account
  2. Go to Settings>>System Options
  3. Make sure that you have "Allow online reservations" turned on
  4. Under the section "Online Reservation Fields", select the fields that you want to display by checking the box. Then choose whether you want that field to be optional or required. 
  5. Save your settings
