How to Make a Space Inactive
Description
This article explains how to stop a space from being booked by guests. When you make a space inactive, it will no longer show up as an option for new bookings.
Instructions
Step 1: Go to Settings
Click on "Settings" in your main menu.
Step 3: Find Your Space
Look through the list of spaces to find the one you want to make inactive.
Step 4: Uncheck the Active Box
Find the checkbox labeled "Active" next to your space. Click on this box to uncheck it. When the box is empty (not checked), the space becomes inactive.
What This Means
- Active space = guests can book this space for reservations
- Inactive space = guests cannot book this space for new reservations
- Making a space inactive does not cancel existing bookings for that space
- You can make a space active again by checking the "Active" box
When to Use This Feature
- When a space needs repairs or maintenance
- When you want to temporarily stop bookings for a space
- When a space is no longer available for guests
